NOUS VOULONS LA LUNE (2023) by Marion Baeriswyl and D.C.P

An immersive and cinematic piece

Nous voulons la Lune evokes ecosystems, interdependencies, our relationship to the world and to the Earth as a planet. On stage, three dancers intertwined as a single body, which sometimes suggests a human body, sometimes a celestial, animal or mineral body; Alternately atom, bacteria or planet, this composite body evolves in slow motion, in a calm and complex dance, which explores the interdependencies and complementarities between the dancers. The piece, immersed in a musical composition oscillating between drone, techno and SF references, unfolds on a progression, like a timeline, playing on round trips, suspensions, accelerations. By offering the public a dive into a world slowed down, Nous voulons la lune evokes the different times that make up our world - sidereal, mineral, vegetable and animal - in order to question the crucial point of the present.
